The research manuscripts submitted to this conference will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Double-blind review is applied, where authors or reviewers’ identities are kept confidential. Final decision of the submitted manuscript is made by Editor based on reviewers’ critical comments.

Participants will be charged based on the recommendation given by the scientific committee alongside the participant’s agreement.

selected papers that meet criteria will be published on Scopus Indexed Proceedings.

3rd ISCEIE has conference submission system developed by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (https://edas.info/). Participants could download templates of the manuscript in system. All reviews and correspondence with the authors are conducted through the system. The reviews were double-blind. Each submission was examined by at least 2 (two) reviewers.

The submissions were first screened for generic quality and suitableness. The articles and the results/data/figures contained in them, that is submitted by the authors to the 3rd ISCEIE conference, must not have been previously published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another publisher. After the initial screening, they were sent for peer review by matching each paper’s topic with the reviewers’ expertise, taking into account any competing interests. A paper could only be considered for acceptance if it had received favorable recommendations from the two reviewers.

Authors of a rejected submission were given the opportunity to revise and resubmit after addressing the reviewers’ comments. The acceptance or rejection of a revised manuscript was final.

All articles’ authors are hidden automatically by the system to ensure the anonymity and thus review is done carefully, scientifically, with zero conflict of interest.

Reviewers were instructed to assess the quality of submissions solely based on the academic merit of their content along the following dimensions:

  • Topic Relevance (how the topic discussed in the paper related with the scope/theme of the Conference)
  • Originality/Novelty (To what extent is the topic original or does the paper suggest novelty)
  • Depth of Analysis (To what extent do the authors analyze the research finding)
  • Significance (How does the paper contribute to the field?)
  • Methodology (How does the methodology used by the author relevant with the proposed aims and resulted in good findings?)

All of the articles are checked for textual overlap in an effort to detect possible signs of plagiarism by the publisher. 3rd ISCEIE uses Turnitin for all papers before review. Only articles with similarity index below 15% are tolerated.
